World Book Day and Snow

Well done to Thomas for winning the costume award today. A fantastic effort made by everyone in Sycamore. It's always nice to see how creative you can be.

Hasn't the weather been strange this week? It's so cold! Even though we are disappointed we had to close school on Thursday, I hope you all took the opportunity to make some amazing family memories in the snow. If you took photos I'd love to see what you got up to, especially if any amazing snowman were built!

Only one more week until Robin Wood! I hope everyone is ready! So excited!

Have a lovely weekend, stay safe and warm, see you all Monday

Kermit is loving learning in Sycamore

For two weeks in a row we have invited Kermit into our classroom to see what we are learning about because we have kept a hundred points! Great behaviour! We need to keep it up. let's hope it lasts this afternoon and Kermit can come again next week.

The children were very excited when they had some visitors in their PE lesson this week, Blackburn Rovers player came and swapped their football skills for cricket skills.

Our amazing artwork was finished:

Inspired by Peter Thorpe:

We even learned about the history of the Solar system... I wonder if any of your children can tell you the difference between the Heliocentric theory and the Geocentric theory of the Solar System?

SAT'S CLUB IS BACK ON THIS MONDAY - CAN ALL CHILDREN ATTENDING PLEASE BRING THEIR MATHS HOMEWORK BOOKS WITH THEM

REMEMBER THERE IS A MEETING FOR ROBINWOOD ON MONDAY AT 4:30PM, AFTER SAT'S CLUB
